Hemp is a crop that requires more water and nutrients than cereal crops to grow. The better the soil, the higher the chances of obtaining a good yield. Hemp needs an average of 30 to 40 cm (12-15 inches) of water per growing season or equivalent rainfall to produce a crop. This amount of water is necessary for the plant to reach its full potential and ensure a successful harvest.
